"9 But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one:

{ THE LAYING ON OF HANDS of the Presbytery is not just someone putting his hands on someone's face or arm or body. Nor can it be done by someone who is not ordained and authorized to do it. THE LAYING ON OF HANDS is a Melchizedek Priesthood ordinance that can only be done by someone who has the Melchizedek Priesthood. Since the power of the Melchizedek Priesthood works through the power of the Holy Ghost, who cannot be deceived!, anyone else who attempts to Lay Their Hands on someone and give them The Gift of The Holy Ghost will fail.}
