"17 PRAY WITHOUT CEASING."

"18 IN EVERY THING GIVE THANKS: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you."

"19 Quench not The Spirit." --- [1st Thessalonians 5: 17-19 - Bible]

{When you pray unceasingly, the promise is: "Pray always, and I will pour out my Spirit upon you," --- [D&C 19:38]

When you don't "Pray without ceasing" you "Quench ... The Spirit."

Which means: You prevent "The Spirit" from being "poured out ... upon you,"

"And they did admonish their brethren; and they were also admonished, every one by the word of God, according to his sins, or to the sins which he had committed, being COMMANDED OF GOD TO PRAY WITHOUT CEASING, AND TO GIVE THANKS IN ALL THINGS." --- [Mosiah 26: 39 - The Book of Mormon]

"2 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that MEN OUGHT ALWAYS TO PRAY, and not to faint;"

"3 Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:"

"4 And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary."

"5 And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;"

"6 Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me."

"7 And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith."

"8 And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?"

"9 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of Man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?" --- [Luke 18: 1 -8 - Bible]

"Watch ye therefore, and PRAY ALWAYS, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man." --- [Luke 21: 36 - Bible]

"But we will GIVE OURSELVES CONTINUALLY TO PRAYER, and to the ministry of the word." --- [Acts 6: 4 - Bible]

"PRAYING ALWAYS with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all Saints;" --- [Ephesians 6: 18 - Bible]

"Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; CONTINUING INSTANT IN PRAYER;" --- [Romans 12: 12 - Bible]

"Yea, and when you do not cry unto the Lord, let your hearts be full, DRAWN OUT IN PRAYER UNTO HIM CONTINUALLY FOR YOUR WELFARE,"

We are commanded to "CONTINUALLY" seek The Lord's protection and guidance and help for our own"WELFARE,"

"AND ALSO FOR THE WELFARE OF THOSE WHO ARE AROUND YOU."" --- [Alma 34: 27 - The Book of Mormon]

I bear testimony that The Lord wants us to "CONTINUALLY" PRAY not only for those we love, but also for strangers. How do you PRAY ALWAYS? How do you PRAY UNCEASINGLY? Everyone in the world needs to be prayed for! That is the answer. When you ride a bus, pray one by one for the other people on the bus with you. When you walk by a house, pray for the family within that house. Whenever you see a stranger and you have a spare moment, PRAY FOR THAT PERSON! YOU CANNOT PRAY TOO MUCH and everyone in the world needs to be PRAYED FOR! Including your favorite actor, actress. Your favorite singer. Politicians, scientists, doctors. Be creative and even open up the telephone book and pray, pray, pray!

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, YOU MUST WATCH AND PRAY ALWAYS, LEST YE BE TEMPTED BY THE DEVIL, and ye be led away captive by him." --- [3rd Nephi 18: 15 - The Book of Mormon]

{One of the main reasons that YOU MUST WATCH AND PRAY ALWAYS is so that you will NOT BE TEMPTED BY THE DEVIL, and ye be led away captive by him." I know from personal experience that when I am tempted, if I will immediately go into UNCEASING PRAYER for the temptation to go away, that it will! I am 100% certain that you can resist the Devil through prayer.}

"PRAY ALWAYS, LEST YE ENTER INTO TEMPTATION and lose your reward." --- [D&C 31: 12]

And ...

"PRAY ALWAYS, THAT YOU MAY COME OFF CONQUERER; YEA, THAT YOU MAY CONQUER SATAN, and that you may escape the hands of the servants of Satan that do uphold his work." --- [D&C 10: 5]

"28 But that ye would humble yourselves before the Lord, and call on his holy name, and WATCH AND PRAY CONTINUALLY, THAT YE MAY NOT BE TEMPTED ABOVE THAT WHICH YE CAN BEAR, AND THUS BE LED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT, becoming humble, meek, submissive, patient, full of love and all long-suffering;"

"29 Having faith on the Lord; having a hope that ye shall receive Eternal Life; having the love of God always in your hearts, that ye may be lifted up at the last day and enter into his rest." --- [Alma 13: 28-29 - The Book of Mormon]

"For they that are wise and have received the truth, AND HAVE TAKEN THE HOLY SPIRIT FOR THEIR GUIDE, and have not been deceived - verily I say unto you, they shall not be hewn down and cast into the fire, but shall abide the day." --- [D&C 45: 57]

Those who really desire to live close to God, MUST, let me repeat, MUST TAKE THE HOLY SPIRIT FOR THEIR GUIDE. One of the main ways you do this is to PRAY ALWAYS, AND I WILL POUR OUT MY SPIRIT UPON YOU:

"PRAY ALWAYS, AND I WILL POUR OUT MY SPIRIT UPON YOU, and great shall be your blessing - yea, even more than if you should obtain treasures of earth and corruptibleness to the extent thereof." --- [D&C 19: 38]

"But behold, I say unto you that YE MUST PRAY ALWAYS, and not faint; that Ye Must Not Perform Anything Unto The Lord Save In The First Place Ye Shall Pray Unto The Father In The Name Of Christ, That He Will Consecrate Thy Performance Unto Thee, That Thy Performance May Be For The Welfare Of Thy Soul." --- [2nd Nephi 32: 9 - The Book of Mormon]

"81 Now, unto what shall I liken the children of Zion? I will liken them unto the parable of the woman and the unjust judge," FOR MEN OUGHT TO ALWAYS PRAY and not to faint, which saith -"

"82 There was in a city a judge which feared not God, neither regarded man."

"83 And there was a widow in that city, and she came unto him, saying: Avenge me of mine adversary."

"84 And he would not for a while, but afterward he said within himself: Though I fear not God, nor regard man, yet because this widow troubleth me I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me." --- [D&C 101: 81-84]

"PRAY ALWAYS, that ye may not faint, until I come. Behold, and lo, I will come quickly, and receive you unto myself. Amen." --- [D&C 88: 126]

"10 Calling on the name of the Lord, for the Comforter, which shall teach them all things that are expedient for them"

"11 PRAYING ALWAYS that they faint not; and inasmuch as they do this, I will be with them even unto the end." --- [D&C 75: 10-11]

{And I bear testimony that you must pray always, IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST. Amen. --- (Brother Erving Axel Lambert - 1/26/2017) }
